Baby Signs® Classes and Workshops

Sign, Say & Play®

This 6-week play class for parents and their babies:
Baby Signs Trio

  • highlights signs that are most important in the lives of babies
  • teaches signing through fun games with BeeBo™ the Baby Signs® Bear
  • provides signing practice through delightful Baby Signs® songs
  • introduces play activities that reinforce important language, cognitive and social- emotional skills
  • brings families together to share their signing experiences

Designed for parents and children ages 6 months to 2 years. You can take the class alone for $75 or purchase the Sign, Say & Play® Kit along with the class for $135 (includes cost of class and kit, kit retails for $64.94) to encourage more signing fun with your little one at home. Please visit our Calendar page to find dates, locations and other information about our classes or contact us if you wish to book a class with a group of friends (minimum of 3 families is required).   These classes can be booked on evenings or weekends for an additional fee.

Parent Workshop

This one-time introductory workshop teaches everything you need to know to get started with the Baby Signs® Program. You will learn:
Baby Signs Trio

  • how to begin signing with your baby
  • effective ways to begin teaching signs at home
  • easy ways to use signs in daily routines
  • what to expect as your baby transitions from signs to speech

Designed for parents, caregivers and/or grandparents/family members of hearing children ages birth to 2 years. You can find information on class dates and locations on our Calendar page.  This workshop is $85 (for 1-2 adults, each additional adult is $15) and includes the Complete Starter Kit (retails for $51.94).  If you are interested in hosting a workshop or having a private workshop in your home, contact us for pricing information and details.

Early Childhood Educator Training

Baby Signs, Inc. offers two high-quality, professional training options specifically designed to teach Child Development Center staff everything they need to know to start signing right away. No matter which option you choose, you are guaranteed to receive an informative and enjoyable training with games, songs, and activities liberally sprinkled throughout to keep teachers engaged and excited as they learn.

  • Option 1: Instructor-Led Training

We can provide baby sign language training tailored to meet the needs of your center.

  • Option 2: Facilitator-Led Training

Simply choose your own, in-house training Facilitator to lead your staff through the Baby Signs Center Certification Program, a DVD-based, single-session training presented by Baby Signs Co-Founder, Dr. Linda Acredolo and ECE Specialist, Bonita Broughton.
